Sharon Solomon is a Family Nurse Practitioner and comes to the Greendale School District by way of Aurora Health Care, where she has worked since 1995 in various roles. She has been a Family Nurse Practitioner with Aurora since 2005. She is available to assist Greendale School District staff, their families and students. She is helping the Greendale Schools in the following ways:

• Able to diagnose and treat common family illnesses
• Triage/refer when necessary
• Able to write prescriptions if required
• Healthcare coach -- helping promote/mentor healthy lifestyle choices
• Assisting/educating with management of chronic conditions as needed
• A resource for health promotion/disease prevention activities
  

Sharon will also be the School Nurse for the Middle and High School.
