Math students in 7th grade worked together to use a Wisconsin state map and their new knowledge of scale/measuring to solve a hidden treasure mystery. Starting in the state capitol, each clue provided a bearing and distance as they "toured" the state. If they carefully navigated each clue successfully, they ended up in the city of the hidden treasure.
