  • How do I use PowerSchool?
PowerSchool Parent Portal gives parents and students access to real-time information including attendance, grades and detailed assignment descriptions, school, and even personal messages from the teacher. Everyone stays connected: students stay on top of assignments and parents are able to participate more fully in their student's progress.

Before you can log in to PowerSchool Parent Portal, you will need your username, and your password. If you do not have this information or have questions, contact your student's school. Parents and students each have their own account. Greendale does not use the Lunch Balance or the My Calendar Feature.

Parents have the added capability of asking for email updates on a student's progress. If you wish to use this feature our recommendation is the Summary of current grades and attendance to be emailed once per week.

Each spring, Middle School and High School students will also use this portal to register for upcoming year's classes.

Each school does a presentation in fall on how to use this Portal. Feel free to email the teachers or call your school office if you have any questions.

  • What are the procedures if my child must take medication while at school?
Any prescription medication that will be administered at school must be accompanied by a district prescription medication form signed by the parent and physician. If a student will carry an inhaler, the same form is required with the parent and physician's signatures. A parent signature is required on the form for any non-prescription medication. • How can I pay for my child's lunch?
Greendale School District Food Service has implemented a computerized debit system that will replace the traditional cash registers currently being used in the cafeteria lunch lines. This system will benefit you, your child, and the district in many ways, and I hope that you and your student will consider taking advantage of some of the convenient options the system has to offer. For questions, please feel free to call the food service office at (414) 423-2780 ext: 4314.

If your student brings checks to deposit into their account, it is recommended they stop in the cafeteria before school and give the check, complete with their unique lunch PIN number in the note section of the check, to a food service cashier during the breakfast session.
