Liz Rick

The essence of our Senior of the Week can be captured by the words of the poet Rabindranath Tagore. He wrote, “I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy.” For her countless contributions to building and maintaining the positive atmosphere of our school, Liz Rick has been awarded the Senior of the Week honor. In speaking with staff about Liz, the common theme is that she is always positive and happy. She has worked hard to build a sense of community in our hallways, serving as a mentor for freshmen warm-up activities and coordinating a flash mob for the Winter Pep Assembly to spread an anti-bullying message. In addition to serving as the editor for the yearbook, Liz is involved in Poms, Student Council and NHS. Thank you for all you’ve done for our Greendale High School community, Liz, and all the best in continuing to spread joy in your future endeavors!
