Here is our 8th Grade Discipline Plan*
Expectations:
- Be in the classroom on time.
- Be respectful of others and school property.
- Be prepared.
- Verbal warning.
- Show infraction and/or move seat.
- Infraction is given and parents may be contacted.
*The plan is subject to the discretion of the classroom teacher as appropriate to circumstances.
8th Grade Homework Policy
For daily work/homework, the following plan is in place for this school year:
- Daily work and homework must be turned in on-time in order to receive full-credit.
- There will be a one-day extension per day of excused absence
- Late papers will be accepted for a lower grade up to two days late.
- If the assignment is one day late, the highest grade you can get is a C. If the assignment is two days late, the highest grade would be a D.
- Extra credit will not be given as a
replacement for missed course work or be used to
artificially inflate grades at the end of the
quarter.
