Team Inspire is pleased to announce Samuel Lee as the winner of the Panther Award for October. His positive can do attitude makes him a leader in the classroom. He works hard to get his own work completed and when working with others he more than does his part to ensure the success of the group. His hard work has allowed him to remain on the high honor roll throughout his middle school years.
Sam has participated in Battle of the Books and we are pleased to say has joined Math Counts this year. Some of his interests include soccer, swimming and ping-pong. Most importantly he is always a positive person who cares about others and is willing to help his peers. We are proud to have Samuel on the team. He is one of those special people in our school who has all the values that the letters P-R-I-D-E stand for integrated into his character.

Team Adventure is proud to honor Isabel Cabrera as this month's Panther Award winner. Isabel demonstrates all characteristics of PRIDE, however her diligence and respect are off the charts. She demonstrates her diligence through her strong work ethic (she has turned in every assignment in every class on time) and her thoroughness in taking notes and completing homework while showing every step of her thinking in a clear, precise manner. She currently is averaging a 98% in all of her classes and maintains this level of excellence by regularly attending the homework help club in the LMC after school. Her respect shines through with the kindness she shows her peers and teachers each day. Isabel is always on-task, focused and prepared to learn. We are honored to have her as part of Team Adventure.

Team Integrity is proud to announce their Panther PRIDE winner for the month of October, Jacob Debelak. He has been a positive influence in the classroom and has earned the respect of both his peers and teachers. Jacob has demonstrated sincere empathy throughout the year but particularly with our bullying discussions. Having experienced bullying himself, Jacob is constantly on the look out for bullies and thinking of ways to combat their negative influence. He even asked other students to listen to our discussion at times, showing just how much he is concerned with this issue. His perseverance, respect, integrity, diligence and empathy are displayed on a weekly basis and we are fortunate he is such a positive member of our team.

The Northstars are pleased to announce Dean Busalacchi as our Panther PRIDE winner. Dean has shown the traits of PRIDE from the first day of school. Dean shows perseverance by continually asking questions when he does not understand a concept. Dean is respectful to both his peers and his teachers in a very kind manner. As a technology assistant Dean proves that he can be trusted, thus showing his integrity. Dean shows his diligence by completing assignments on time and turning assignments in when they are due. Finally, Dean is truly empathetic to others who are struggling. I have noticed Dean helping others with their lockers, helping when someone drops their books, and offering to help teachers after school. Dean is a great example of what our PRIDE program is all about. Congratulations Dean!
