This Week at College Park: February 10

Good Afternoon College Park Families,

It was great to see many parents at our Parents as Partners event on Tuesday. We are glad so many of you were able to make time to attend the sessions provided. If you have suggestions for other parent sessions, please let us know so we may incorporate your ideas into future sessions offered.

Pennies for the Pig
Our February incentive for our school theme of investing in our future is off to a strong start. Each class has a piggy bank and will earn a penny for each reading slip, math game played, walks to and from school, Caring People awards and fitness logs turned in. The class to fill their pig first will earn a special event! The Great America and Noah’s Ark slips count toward reading minutes so be sure to turn those in for double incentives!

College Park Yearbooks
If you did not order a yearbook during summer registration, it's not too late to order! Please return an order form along with your check of $13 payable to the CP-PTO. Orders must be submitted by Friday, March 30. Yearbooks will be delivered the last week of school. If you are not sure if you ordered, you may contact the school office. Forms were sent home with all students who have not yet ordered.

Don’t Miss Out on Exciting New Prizes!
It has been rumored that we will have many exciting new opportunities for raffle prizes for this year’s PTO raffle! Be watching for more information from the PTO and sign up slips for your family’s dinner choices!

Our PTO will again be holding our Dinner and Raffle on Friday March 2. You won’t want to miss this family friendly event and the possibility to win great prizes. We will again be offering Rocky Rococo’s pizza and pasta. If you are interested in donating items for the raffle please contact our chair-people; Cherie Swiercz and Robin Konop. Each grade level will also be putting together a basket so be looking for information on the theme chosen by your child’s grade and how you can contribute! We will also be looking for baked goods to sell as desserts. More information will be coming on the bake sale, along with details on the event.
