This Week at College Park: March 30

Good Afternoon College Park Families,

We have several special events planned for next Thursday. First of all, we will be having a Brewer Spirit Day! First graders wrote persuasive letters earlier this year, including one asking for a Brewer Day! The letter was so well written I couldn’t say no, so be sure to wear your Brewer attire on Thursday. In addition, we will be having an all school walk Thursday afternoon, followed by an “egg hunt” for classes earning the most CP Dollars! Don’t forget to read, exercise and play math games this weekend to earn additional dollars for your class!

Spring Break
Spring break will begin Friday, April 6. Students will return to school on Monday, April 16. We hope you are all able to enjoy time with family and friends during your time off.

Fifth Grade Popcorn Sale
The fifth grade students will be selling popcorn this Thursday, after our all school walk. The money raised will be used to help offset the cost of their Madison field trip. If your child would like to purchase a bag of popcorn, please send 25 cents to school on Thursday!

Summer School
Summer school information can be easily accessed through our website. There is a summer school link on the school homepage or you can click here. The forms may be completed and returned to your school office. Space in the classes is limited so it is important to sign up early to be sure to have a spot in your preferred classes. The last day for registrations to be accepted is May 25. In the past, we have had some disappointed families when students were not enrolled prior to the deadline. We will be unable to grant exceptions to this deadline so please be sure to plan accordingly.

Last Chance for Lost and Found
Our lost and found table is not quite as full as most winters, but we do have a number of unclaimed items. If you are missing items please remind your child to check the main hallway area for missing hats, gloves, boots, etc. We will be disposing of all items left prior to Spring Break.

Ava's Walk on Sunday, April 22
The 2nd annual walk in memory of Ava Marie Zimmerman to advocate for vehicle awareness will be held on Sunday, April 22, at 3:00 p.m. in the Village of Greendale. Please click here for additional information and event details.
