Mysterious Jouneys in the Life of a Raisin

Seventh grade science students at Greendale Middle School are learning the steps of the scientific method. They are studying the importance of observations and inferences through a lab called "Mysterious Journeys in the Life of a Raisin."
The seventh graders filled a 250ml beaker with 100ml of water, added 1 teaspoon of baking soda, several raisins, 10ml of vinegar and then made observations. From those observations, students made inferences.
