Highland View fifth graders recently attend a Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra concert. Students heard works by Mozart, Beethoven, Shostakovic and Rossini. This concert tied into the music curriculum, in which students study composers, music history and the instruments of the orchestra. Thanks to a generous grant from the Greendale Friends of Music, they were able to attend this concert free of charge.
