The Greendale High School AP Environmental Science class visited Veolia Water last week.  Students toured the facility and learned about the deep tunnel that collects excess water at periods of intense rainfall.  They were able to view the natural biological processes used to clean waste water and create Milorganite, which is packaged at the same facility. The students also toured the laboratory at Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District, where water samples from Veolia are tested daily.
