Board of Education Goals for 2012 – 2013
I. GOAL:
To personalize learning, use effective instructional practices, and measure student progress to ensure rigorous, relevant curriculum and maximize student achievement. (Personalize Learning & Maximize Achievement)
II GOAL:
To address the diverse needs of students and families by considering and measuring our evolving village demographics in order to provide effective communication, varied opportunities for engagement and to achieve equity for all students. (Respect & Support Diversity)
III. GOAL:
To work with faculty and community to identify and define the key attributes desired for graduates of the Greendale Schools, and implement the tools needed to instill those attributes and measure our success. (Develop 21st Century Skills & Character)
IV. GOAL:
To ensure that all students have relationships, resources and access to technology to fully engage in the instructional program. (Technology Equity)
V. GOAL:
To seek excellence in the District’s instructional programs and operational practices, protect the financial health of the Greendale Schools, operate in a green and sustainable fashion and retain high quality staff through prudent financial and facilities management. (Fiscal Responsibility)
