Middle School Students Uncover the History of Greendale
GOOD NEWS:
Eighth grade students at Greendale Middle School toured the Village of Greendale on Friday, May 17, in search of the legacy of Franklin Roosevelt's New Deal. After reviewing the history of how their community was planned, built and developed into the town it is today, students hunted down traces of the past.
Multi-Grade Group of Boys Have Fun Playing Baseball Together
GOOD NEWS:
On many sunny spring afternoons this multi-grade group of boys from the College Park neighborhood can be found playing baseball on the school field. These students from Greendale High School, Greendale Middle School, College Park School and St. Alphonsus in Greendale have fun hanging out together and taking part in a healthy, outdoor sport.
Try-It-Time Wrapped Up With a Bounce and a Bang!
GOOD NEWS:
Greendale Schools Superintendent Dr. John Tharpe shared his Basketball skills with over 50 Canterbury students after school last Wednesday. Thanks to all the parent volunteers that helped out. The students scored a lot of baskets, but even more smiles. Remember, if there's anything you think you could share with the students, Try-It-Time will be looking for parents to share again next year!

Newsweek Ranks Greendale High School in Top 5%
The Greendale School District announced today that Greendale High School has been named to Newsweek’s list of America’s Best High Schools.

Greendale School District listed on College Board's AP Honor Roll for simultaneously increasing access to Advanced Placement coursework and percentage of students earning scores of three or higher on AP exams.

Student & Family Assistance Program
The Greendale School District is pleased to offer a new program to promote healthy homes, healthy minds and healthy families. The Student and Family Assistance Program (SFAP), sponsored by the Aurora Employee Assistance Program, is a free benefit provided to all families and students of the Greendale School District.
