An on-site, registered Nurse Practitioner from Aurora, is available to assist with the management of chronic conditions as needed, healthcare coaching to promote/mentor healthy lifestyle choices, script services, diagnosis and treatment of simple common illnesses such as ear and throat infections. Aurora EAP:
Employee Assistance Program includes (6) face-to-face visits per issue with Masters Degreed counselors to deal with mental health issues, relationship issues, marital disputes, legal issues, elder or child care finding/issues, mediation, financial counseling, AODA issues, adoption, Available to all GSD staff at no cost, if insured or not by GSD. Annual blood lipid panel screen including cholesterol, triglycerides, glucose, body fat, blood pressure. Annual Health Risk Assessment of current health status and improvements needed. View your 2010 health screening online by going to www.healics.com. Next screening is scheduled for Fall of 2011.
