Victoria (Vicki) McCormick was elected to the Greendale Board of Education in April 1998 and has served as its clerk, president and vice president. Active as a Board member, she has worked on the Policy, Strategic Planning, and Negotiations committees and as CESA 1 Delegate and Wisconsin Association of School Boards (WASB) Delegate. She was elected CESA 1 Treasurer in 2013.
Mrs. McCormick has presented at the national and state level on the topics of community engagement, staff performance evaluation, pay for learning, board of education self evaluation, communication for leadership and the role of school boards in public education. She is a past WASB President and a former member of the National School Boards Association (NSBA) Nominating Committee.
Mrs. McCormick earned BSN and MSN nursing degrees from Marquette University and has 20 plus years experience in nursing and hospital administration. She is employed as a Sales Consultant by Cornerstone Development of S.E. Wisconsin.
A Greendale resident since 1986, Mrs. McCormick is a widow with five children: Casey (2000 GHS graduate) earned degrees from UW-Waukesha and UW-Milwaukee and is employed by Greendale Schools; Patrick (2002 GHS graduate) is a UW-Madison graduate and chef; Brenna (2006 GHS graduate) is a UW-Eau Claire graduate and a Spanish teacher in a neighboring school district; Molly (2011 GHS graduate) is a student at Northwestern University; and Meghan (twin sister and also 2011 GHS graduate) is a student at UW-Madison.
