To make our already exceptional educational system even better, Greendale Schools uses incremental (short-cycle), targeted improvements to processes that match its goals. The priorities for the short cycles tie back to the annual goals established by District teams.
Called improvement science, this work is based on testing a theory of action through short, continual cycles, and determining the impact the theory is having on results.
By using short cycles of 45 to 60 days to look at impact, teams within Greendale Schools are more flexible and responsive to the needs of the students and staff being impacted by the improvement efforts.
Short cycle results are reported each trimester by school and district administrators. Click here to read the short cycle reports.
Annually, results from all trimester goals are reported in the Superintendent's Score Card and are a part of the superintendent's annual performance review.
