Greendale High School (GHS), 6801 Southway, announced its Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2026. Members of the new class include former GHS athletes Mary Pospyhalla Reeder, Class of 1979 and Ben Ericksen, Class of 2009. Mr. Chris Mackenzie, LAT, the school’s athletic trainer, will be honored as a Friend of Greendale High School Athletics.
The Induction Ceremony for the 2026 Hall of Fame Class will take place in the school’s Multipurpose Room on Friday, January 23, 2026. A reception will begin at 5:00 p.m. and the ceremony will take place from 5:30 - 6:15 p.m. All inductees will be welcomed back to campus for the 7:00 p.m. Varsity Basketball game Greendale vs. New Berlin Eisenhower in the gymnasium at GHS. Inductees will be recognized during the first half of the game. 
“We look forward to celebrating the accomplishments of these new members of the Greendale High School Athletics Hall of Fame on January 23,” said Mark Pollex, Greendale High School Athletics and Activities Director. “GHS has a rich tradition of cultivating outstanding student-athletes. This Hall of Fame Class of 2026 recognizes the contributions of three outstanding individuals who have shaped this legacy.”
The Hall of Fame award recognizes and honors outstanding achievements of individual athletes, coaches, and friends of Greendale High School who have contributed to the integrity, promotion, and growth of athletics at the school. Members of the Hall of Fame will have performed at both an exceptionally high athletic level and represented Greendale with high standards of citizenship and character. This award will also recognize and honor people who have been instrumental in creating an excellent athletic tradition in the ideals of “Panther Pride”.

Hall of Fame inductions are now expected to take place on a biennial basis. Hall of Fame nominations are accepted at any time.
