The Greendale Theater Department was recognized with Jerry Awards for its two musical theater productions in 2026, Alice By Heart, and Chicago Teen Edition. Students participated in the Jerry Awards program, held at Madison’s Overture Center, on June 7.
Alice By Heart, the school’s Winter Musical, received an amazing 13 Jerry Awards, including Outstanding Musical recognition. These individual roles also received acknowledgement from the Jerry Awards:

The Award-Winning Theatre Department is proud to announce its 2026-2027 Theatre Season.
Fall Play: November 5-7, 2026 -- Our Town by Thornton Wilder. The classic American play depicts a village not unlike Greendale and follows two families and their experience with love and loss.
Winter Musical: January 7-10, 2027 -- A Chorus Line Teen Edition. This Pulitzer Prize-winning musical is a classic American Musical and features hit songs like "One", "What I Did For Love" and "I Hope I Get it" following an intense and emotional Broadway audition process.
Spring Musical: March 5-7, 11-13, 2027 -- Disney's Frozen. Arendelle comes to Greendale! This new Disney classic comes to the stage with all of your favorite characters -- Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Sven, Kristoff and the magical songs "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?", "In Summer", "Let it Go" and many more Broadway songs. We look forward to bringing this family event to Greendale in March of 2027.
