This is a great opportunity to get our families, staff, and friends together for some fun, movement, and school pride. You can run, walk, roll, or bring the whole family along. Every registration helps us reach our goal!

Our College Park Lego League will be starting up again for students in 4th and 5th grade. Registration forms were sent home last Friday, but you can also access one here: College Park First Lego League Application. This is a big commitment so be sure to read the expectations carefully!

Join our Kido-certified coach to learn about one of the over 20 differenct sports and activities. Different sports each week build core skills, and our focus is on experience, not excellence. Every kid gets equipment and every kid participates. Bring a water bottle and be dressed to play. For grades K5 through 5th grade.

Greendale Schools is hiring Lunchroom and Playground Supervisors for the elementary schools. Join us on school days from 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Starting pay is $13.50 per hour, and schedules are flexible, including 2-3 days a week. Parents, grandparents: this job could be for you. Come and support student safety in the Lunchroom and Playground.
Lunch Servers at the elementary and middle school level, and Food Service Substitutes are also needed. Are you looking for a part-time job while the kids are in school? Work a flexible schedule to match your kid's school schedule, and help out in our Food Service program. Hours are flexible, usually between 9 a.m. and 2 pm. Starting pay is $14.50 per hour. Earlier this week, fourth graders at College Park kicked off the year with activities from our 'Character Strong' curriculum about building a class community. They brain-stormed ideas about what it means to be kind, strong, and well. They also colored 'team jerseys' to show they are all an important part of our fourth grade team.
College Park students and families arrived on the first day of school with smiles and excitement for the new school year. It was a beautiful September morning for commemorative photos and some friendly greetings from the staff. We're off to a great start, College Park!

Child Development Days 2026-2027 Dates Set
Child Development Days screening is available to all Greendale resident children 3-4 years of age who are NOT enrolled in Greendale Schools' 4K Program. The event is held at Highland View, 5900 South 51st Street, and offers important screening of your child(ren)'s school readiness, including: speech and language development, reading readiness, social-emotional maturity, fine and gross motor skills and vision and hearing. Families also receive information on normal child growth and development and have access to developmental resources and informational handouts. Participants can share refreshments and receive a free gift for their children. Child Development Days are held on select dates by appointment only. Schedule an appointment by calling (414) 423-2713.

Back to School Check In/OLR will open on Wednesday, July 15. This annual review is REQUIRED of all Greendale Schools’ families. It is an opportunity to review and confirm or update student and family information.
Reviewing this information takes place in Infinite Campus and ensures the school has the most accurate information on student enrollment, correct address and contact information for families, emergency contact details, and health and demographic information for your children. This process must be completed BEFORE the first day of school, September 1, 2026. Student Fees are also due at that time.
Watch for an email message when the Infinite Campus portal is available for OLR. Families must have an Infinite Campus PARENT PORTAL account to complete this process. Please make sure you have an account and can access it. This is the same account you use to review your student(s) report cards. Thank you!
Greendale's Junior Panthers U8 Baseball Program is open to incoming 1st and 2nd graders! This is a great opportunity for young players to learn the game, build skills, and represent their hometown team. Tryouts for the team are coming soon, Wednesdays, July 15 and 22, 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. at Highland View Field. A group of our fantastic College Park 3rd graders rolled up their sleeves and got their hands dirty before school let out for the summer to help beautify the school! Armed with a shovel, teamwork, and a lot of enthusiasm, they planted a variety of beautiful flowers and plants in the front of the school. Keep an eye out for the new pops of color next time you walk by—the future looks bright and beautiful thanks to these hard-working students!
Before school got out for the summer, some of College Park's youngest artists got the chance to grab paintbrushes and help bring the school mural to life. Working together on such a big project taught the first graders about collaboration, creativity, and taking pride in the school community. They may be small, but their contribution to the school’s spirit is absolutely huge. We are so proud of these little Picassos!

As an outdoor event, focused on having a safe summer, we're obviously prioritizing participant safety, and that means we had to make the sad decision to cancel the event tonight. We're brainstorming ways to bring the event back some time this summer, and hope we'll still be able to showcase all the fun, safe, and enriching opportunities our community has to offer!
For those of you willing to brave the weather, a few kids activities will still be available in the community room downstairs in the Greendale Library between 3:00-7:00PM.

College Park was buzzing with energy, teamwork, and a whole lot of school spirit for their annual Olympic Day! From thrilling relay races, to a bouncy house and fun field challenges, our students brought their absolute best effort and cheered each other on every step of the way.
