GMS students traveled recently for the Engineering EXPO at the College of Engineering at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. The two-day exposition is held annually to encourage middle-school aged students to explore the fields of science and engineering. From aeronautics to plant biology, our Panthers and other EXPO attendees heard keynote presentations and watched demonstrations, participate in competitions and engaged with a multitude of hands-on exhibits showcasing what engineering is all about. Find out more about the EXPO on the UW website.

GMS students are taking on the role of Student Librarian by creating library displays for students to receive recommendations on their favorite books. This Panther created the first Student Librarian Display. She came up with the concept, designed the sign and chose which books to include. This project is a great way to promote literacy, student leadership, and peer-to-peer relationships. #PantherPride #LearnGrowEngageGreendale #CultivatingExcellence
