Join us TONIGHT for a community conversation on Executive Functioning Skills for Students -- Tuesday, February 10, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Hose Tower.
Community Alliance, Greendale Schools and the Greendale Public Health Department are teaming up to discuss the executive functioning skills we all need for success. Find out what these essential skills may look like based on a child’s age: planning, time management, task initiation, organization, problem solving, flexibility, working memory, emotional control, impulse control, attentional control and self monitoring. Registration recommended. Use this link or call the Greendale Health Department at 414-423-2110.

Highland View 4th graders visited JA BizTown, a simulation where students work together in businesses to learn how an economy and community work. They earn paychecks for their work, support the town's businesses by shopping at them, all while working together to help their community run smoothly. We are also incredibly proud of our students for the positive way they represented Greendale at BizTown. They demonstrated leadership, responsibility, and teamwork, and we received wonderful feedback about their behavior and effort. Great job, Panthers! #LearnGrowEngageGreendale #CultivatingExcellence #PantherPride

The community celebrated the Greendale Marching Band's upcoming appearance at the Rose Parade with a special celebration on Saturday afternoon in the gym at GHS. The band performed the music from its fall field show, Snow Angel, and the selection it will perform on New Year's Day in the 5.5 mile parade in Pasadena, California. Standby for details and television broadcast information on the best way to see our students perform in the parade! Thanks so much to EVERYONE who brought coloring books to donate to Shriner's Hospital in California, and to our entire community for its outstanding support of the fine arts in Greendale. Our students are excited to share their Panther Spirit during the parade.
