GMS 6th graders wrapped up their research unit on our changing oceans recently with a video call to a real-life explorer -- Mark Wood, who travels to remote places around the world. Mr. Wood has led polar and mountain expeditions for over twenty years in areas including the Arctic Circle, Antarctica and the Himalayas, plus the Norwegian, Canadian and Alaskan high Arctic.
