Community Alliance, Greendale Schools and the Greendale Public Health Department are teaming up to discuss the executive functioning skills we all need for success. Registration recommended. Use this link or call the Greendale Health Department at 414-423-2110.

GMS 6th graders wrapped up their research unit on our changing oceans recently with a video call to a real-life explorer -- Mark Wood, who travels to remote places around the world. Mr. Wood has led polar and mountain expeditions for over twenty years in areas including the Arctic Circle, Antarctica and the Himalayas, plus the Norwegian, Canadian and Alaskan high Arctic. He has trained and led teams and supported film crews for documentaries. This was a an extraordinary culminating activity and the students were fascinated by his stories and adventures! #LearnGrowEngageGreendale #CultivatingExcellence

Local author DJ Slater visited GHS recently to speak to Ms. Hussa's Flex and Creative Writing classes. Mr. Slater talked about the process of becoming a published author, shared a bit about his book, and led students in some writing exercises. It was a fantastic experience!
